Project Description
The Dystopian Tableau Project combines elements of our previous projects (Torture on Trial) with ideas and concepts from our upcoming Festival del Sol project about the future of our planet. Now that we have demonstrated mastery of several moral theories and dilemmas made famous throughout history, it's time for us to put these ideas to the test. Combining our knowledge of morality with the controversial and complex theories on survival popularized by ecologist Garrett Hardin, students will write dystopian vignettes and create tableaus that represent the greater themes within each story.
Below, you will find a gallery with each group's staged tableau. Underneath that you can read each group's accompanying dystopian vignette, presented in the same order as the gallery.
